Kyou kara Ore wa!! OVA 1993 BDRip

kkowIf you are in for some delinquent comedy, something fun and entertaining to spend your time go ahead and watch this! Animation has that old-school style, characters are very likeable and some of the jokes are off the charts! –  Pallios

Yes. This one is top notch cell anime with stunning visuals. Everything is great in this series – story, music, characters, mood. If you like GTO – this one is definitely for you.

Video is 1440×1080 resolution encoded by x265 in main 10bit profile with CRF=15. PP this time is very light dehalo, light denoise/degrain, deband. Audio tracks are Japanese stereo FLAC in 48kHz 16bit.(24bit DTSMA->album gain->16bit FLAC) Chapters included.

Japan Blu-ray source is good FullHD remaster with high black levels so you might be need to turn PC-TV levels(0-255->16-235) conversion in media player to get dark scenes on average display. Now I can happily throw my DVDRip in trash bin 🙂

Here some screenshots.

English subs heavily re-synced from [Saizen-Yabai](tbh subs needs to be reworked, since not only video is off-sync but audio also changed, I’ve tried my best).  External Russian subs re-synced from [Maria & Zero (1-6) & Ethnica (7, 8) & Nicolai8 (9, 10)].

Ballroom e Youkoso 2017 BDRip

ballroom

I think Production I.G did a great job at animating Ballroom e Youkoso.
During the first half the series, seems a little lacking since you the dances parts felt relatively short comparing to the manga, but the second half picks up as you get more character development and you get to see more of the dances.

The music in this series is also amazing. Definitely get the soundtrack and relive the moments in the anime. I was really anticipating this since it was announced and it didn’t disappoint. I think if you read the manga, this is a must see and if you never read the manga, please read that after watching this. noodlebowl

Synopsis: Feckless high school student Fujita Tatara wants to be good at something – anything. Unfortunately, he’s about as average as a slouchy teen can be. The local bullies know this and make it a habit to hit him up for cash, but all that changes when the debonair Sengoku Kaname sends them packing. Sengoku’s not the neighborhood watch, though. He’s a professional ballroom dancer. And once Fujita Tatara gets pulled into the world of the ballroom, his life will never be the same.

Dimension W 2016 BDRip

w

Dimension W started of really promising. Though towards the end I did get lost abit in its babble about what is Dimension W. But that doesn’t mean its not good, IMHO is a pretty good anime with its own strength.

The animation and art is BEAUTIFUL! The fight scenes are mesmerizing. Even the OP sequence is cute with its dance like moves. The ED has some nice fan service too. And the OP track is pretty damn fantastic by itself too.

Character design and concept are retro-ish, unique and cool, it gave kinda gave me the Fifth Element vibe – futurist and retro-ish at the same time. Though I really wish there were more character development on Mira. I really like her. And speaking of Mira, Dimension W does give an occasional but satisfying fan service from Mira. Lastly the plot and story does get me lost a few times. I still have many lingering question. Nonetheless, I highly recommend Dimension W at 7/10 for its animation, character and theme design! And yes the fight scenes. – ornehx

Video is 1920×1080 resolution encoded by x265 in main 10bit profile with CRF=15.5. PP this time is multiple mode original resolution (720p) restoration with HD elements retaining, 1080p upconvert, light dehalo, light denoise/degrain, deband. Audio tracks are Japanese stereo FLAC in 48kHz 24bit. Chapters included.

Japan Blu-ray source is upscaled from 720p resolution. And they applied multiple bicubic resizer settings for scenes and episodes. Strong halo effect on image borders was properly removed with balanceborders filter. I’ve restored original picture to make a proper upconvert while retaining 1080p elements.

Here some screenshot comparison with other releases.

Synopsis: In the year 2071, the world’s energy problems seem solved by a network of cross-dimensional electric-field inductors — coils — that extract energy from a seemingly infinite source. That source is the W dimension, a fourth plane that exists beyond the X, Y, and Z dimensions.

In this world, unofficial “illegal” coils harness powers that the police cannot hope to counter. Dealing with these coils is the job of coil-hating repo man Kyouma, whose run-in with the unique coil android Mira leads the two to form a reluctant partnership.
